Our estate Aglianico bridges the gap between Old and New World wine with Lake County closely matching the grape's home terroir in Southern Italy. Savory red cherry and deep black fruit are backed by dark spice, firm tannin and acid, with minerality and classic undertones of graphite, iron, mint, herb and earth. a 50/50 blend of the 2015 and 2016 vintages.
Rustic yet refined, totally varietally correct, and very food friendly with a robust meal that can match it. Potential aging 10+ years, improving all the while.
